Ladies, we all know how annoying those zits can be. They can arrive uninvited at any point and take their own sweet time to leave. Of course, there are various ways to tackle it, but you know how much stress acne and pimples bring with it! While most of the time, you can see pimples, the worst ones are those that you can feel but can’t see.

Yes, ladies, blind pimples are the worst ever! They are the most stubborn and difficult to get rid of. That’s because in this case, nodules and zits are rooted so deeply that they are almost invisible on the skin’s surface.

According to experts, these are deep cysts under the skin. They are oil-filled balloons without a connection to the surface of the skin. Plus, they have no visible head, so you can’t pick or squeeze them. Sounds really weird, right? And the worst part is they don’t even respond to the usual pimple treatment, so what do we do?

Well, as always, we are here to help you. But before we go to the treatment, let’s understand the causes of blind pimples.

This is what causes blind pimples

Yet again, dreaded hormones come into the picture and make things haywire. In the case of blind pimples, the skin’s oil glands become sensitive in response to hormones and react to it by producing sebum in high quantities. The sebum, along with the bacteria and dirt, finds a place in your pores, making oil glands swollen. Thus, a sensitive bump forms underneath the surface of your skin.

Blind pimples tend to develop in places that secrete more oil. These areas usually include your face, chest, neck and back.

The other most common reason for these blind pimples is the lack of a nutritious diet. There are certain food groups that can cause inflammation in your body, and can affect the skin’s natural balance. For example, dairy is known to cause blind pimples, so trying cutting it down to see if it makes any difference. A diet that is high on the glycemic index is generally the cause for these zits. That’s because sugars are inflammatory in nature, and cause so many issues.

Blind pimple home remedies to swear by

As we mentioned earlier, blind pimples are not easy to get rid of. Unlike regular pimples, these take their own time, and that could also mean weeks or months. So, ladies, you need to have all the patience in the world. Do not give up so easily! Don’t touch them all the time, because it can lead to infection, and you don’t want that right?

Here some home remedies for blind pimples:

1. Apply tea tree oil

2. Use a warm compress

Dealing with a horrible blind pimple? Try using a water-soaked washcloth that is warm and apply it to your zit directly. The heat will make blood travel to the affected area and help in reducing the inflammation. Apply the warm compress for 10-15 minutes, at least three times a day, and continue until the pus is released. Doing it frequently will help to bring the pimple to the surface of the skin, and that’s what we want!

3. Turn to raw honey

We always say that the Indian kitchen has the answer to all your skincare problems! This time around, we suggest you use raw honey on these blind pimples. That’s because honey has natural antimicrobial properties that help to get rid of acne-causing bacteria, and is any day better than using medication.

Just apply a little to the affected area, and leave it on overnight. And make sure you use raw honey, instead of the store-bought honey.

So ladies, try these blind pimple home remedies to see a difference in no time. If the problem still persists, make sure to visit a dermatologist.
