When you use apple cider vinegar for skin, anything is possible. Apple cider vinegar is a fab toner and helps in cleansing your skin. Since it is made via a fermentation process, it has acetic acid in it. This acid is the key to healthy-looking skin because it gives ACV antibacterial and antifungal properties. Therefore, even if dust and sebum try to make acne happen, ACV won’t give them a chance. In fact, Apple cider vinegar can also treat skin conditions such as eczema and sunburn, says Dr Rana.
When it comes to pigmentation or blemishes, a study published in the journal Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine suggests that apple cider vinegar can really work its magic.
