Health Shots spoke with Dr Amit Bangia, Senior Consultant Dermatologist, Asian Hospital, Faridabad, about the benefits of facial oils and which face oils are best to manage dry skin.
Dr Bangia says, “Essential fatty acids present in facial oils help in moisturizing the skin, providing essential nutrients and help in healing dry, chapped and cracked skin. Not only this, they also lock in hydration and provide glow.”
Your struggles with dry skin may be put to an end with argan oil. It offers anti-sebum actions that can control the sebum production on your skin. This oil can promote a smoother, calmer complexion by treating a variety of skin conditions, including dry skin and acne. At least twice a day, apply it directly to your skin or use a face cream containing argan oil.

Coconut oil can improve the appearance of your skin due to its high vitamin E and K content, anti-fungal and antibacterial activities, and antibacterial characteristics.
