What are the benefits of apple cider vinegar for skin?
Apple cider vinegar is a fab toner and helps in cleansing your skin. Since it’s made via a fermentation process, it has acetic acid in it. This acid is the key to healthy-looking skin because it gives ACV antibacterial and antifungal properties. Therefore, even if dust and sebum try to make acne happen, ACV won’t give them a chance.

When it comes to pigmentation, a study published in the journal Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine suggests that apple cider vinegar can really work its magic. That’s because it is loaded with polyphenols, pectin, and carotenoids—all of which help in reducing hyperpigmentation and can make your skin look clearer and healthier.

But before you start dabbing apple cider vinegar on your skin, know this: when applied directly it can cause rashes and itchiness. You should always use ACV either by diluting it with water or by mixing it in a pack to avoid any skin trouble.
