Ending your hair care routine with a hair rinse can help you add that extra dose of natural goodness that can strengthen the hair and cleanse the scalp. In addition, a good hair rinse ensures that your hair looks lustrous and stays free of tangles!

It’s hard to miss the bright yellow marigold which is also known as calendula. Marigold is known for its ability to heal wounds, act as an antifungal solution and moisturise the scalp. So, it benefits our hair health by:
Tea tree oil, on the other hand, is known for its antibacterial and antifungal properties. What’s more, it can also improve blood circulation in the scalp. Hence, using it on your tresses will help you steer clear of dandruff and other scalp infections along with ensuring healthy hair growth. Overall it will boost the health of your scalp and hair.
Ingredients
3 to 4 dried marigold flowers
10 to 12 drops tea tree oil
250 ml water
Preparation
Step 1: Dry the marigold flowers. Crush the petals to make a paste. You can also purchase marigold flower powder from the market.
Step 2: Add the marigold powder to a teaspoon of water and proceed to add 10 to 12 drops of tea tree oil to it. Mix well. Note: it is extremely important to dilute it, or it can damage the scalp.
Step 3: Add 250 ml of warm water to this paste-like mixture of marigold flowers and tea tree oil to make your hair rinse.
1. After you’re done washing your hair, pour the hair rinse on your scalp and along the length of your tresses.
2. Rub it into the scalp for better absorption.
3. Let it sit for 3 to 5 minutes, just like a conditioner.
4. Now, rinse it with warm water. You will not need to use shampoo after it. Alternatively, you can strain out the particles right after preparing the hair rinse and simply pour it over your tresses once you’re done shampooing instead of having to rinse it once more with warm water.
Make sure that you use this hair rinse at least once or twice a week to see an improvement in your hair health!
