So many of us deal with the menace of hair fall. While there are a number of over-the-counter products available to manage hair fall, what if we told you that a hair oil based on natural ingredients and made at home can do the trick for you?

According to a study published in the journal Dermatology and Therapy, losing 50 to 100 hair strands on a daily basis is considered normal. However, anything beyond that is a cause of worry, and appropriate measures should be taken to mitigate the situation.

So, if you are looking to protect your hair from hair fall and add volume to it, then one such measure is using hair oil made from reetha and kalonji!

Here’s how reetha and kalonji can benefit your hair

Reetha or soap nut is known to promote hair growth, and nourish the hair. It is full of iron, which helps to add volume to the hair, and has anti-inflammatory properties that soothes and cleanses the scalp, by getting rid of the itchiness and irritation.

Kalonji or black cumin on the other hand, is a renowned ingredient for dermatological purposes. According to a study published in the Journal of Tropical Medicine, it nourishes the hair follicles, so that they can grip the hair better which results in less hair fall. Kalonji has antifungal and antioxidant properties, which helps prevent scalp infections that could cause hair fall.
