1. Castor oil mask

It is rich in fatty acids and also contains microbial properties that make it a miracle cure for all kinds of hair concerns.

To make the mask:

1. Put one teaspoon cold-pressed castor oil in a small bowl.
2. Heat it in the microwave for about 10 seconds. Remember it shouldn’t be boiling hot, just warm enough.
3. Using your fingertips, just massage the oil into your scalp and down the hair shaft.
4. Leave it on for 15 minutes, rinse well, and then shampoo.

2. Avocado and banana hair mask

Avocado is not just great for your gut, but also for your hair! It is rich in omega-3, amino acids, as well as vitamins A, D, E and B6. That means your hair gets all the nutrients, and grows in no time. What’s more, when avocado combines with banana, it provides your hair with all the hydration, and makes it shinier and voluminous!

To make the mask:

1. Mash together one medium-sized ripe avocado and a small ripe banana.
2. Add one tablespoon each of olive oil and wheat germ oil to this paste.
3. Gently massage this hair mask into your hair, making sure you cover the roots and tips.
4. After 30 minutes, rinse with cold water and shampoo.

3. Amla, coconut oil and shikakai powder hair mask

Gooseberry, also called amla, is rich in vitamin C, antioxidants, as well as flavonoids that help you with a healthy scalp. That means your hair will grow much faster, and its texture is also likely to improve. On the other hand, coconut oil has always been the miracle elixir for your tresses, so no wonder this ingredient features here! Shikakai helps to strengthen your hair follicles.

To make the mask:

1. Mix one tablespoon each of amla and shikakai powder in two tablespoons of coconut oil and bring to a boil.
2. After straining this oil, massage it onto your scalp before going to bed.
3. In the morning, wash your hair with shampoo.
