A hair rinse made from natural ingredients is extremely beneficial for protecting your hair against a variety of issues, and supplementing its health. All you need is to utilise some kitchen staples to keep your tresses healthy, and steer clear of common problems like dandruff.

Dandruff is a common condition which causes the skin on the scalp to flake, and can make your confidence take a plunge due to the flaky scalp being sprinkled over your shoulder and hair.

When making a hair rinse, you could use ingredients to specifically target problem areas. So, if you’ve been dealing with dandruff, then worry not because we have a hair rinse that you can prepare using only two ingredients — amla and neem.

Here’s how amla and neem can benefit your hair

Amla is a nutrient rich fruit which promotes hair health, due to the presence of essential vitamins and antioxidants. As per research published in Journal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research, amla helps improve the health of damaged hair, prevent hair fall, and ward off dandruff. Amla also protects the scalp from lice and parasite infections due to its antibacterial properties.

Neem has antibacterial and antifungal properties, that reduces the side-effects of dandruff, and scalp infections. It is rich in antioxidants, vitamin E, and can help battle hair loss and dullness.
