We often find ourselves experimenting with our looks, and hair colour is a time-tested way to enhance your appeal, express yourself, and feel good about your appearance.
Haircare, on the other hand, is a time-intensive pursuit, which requires you to nourish your hair and protect against damage. Hair damage can have an adverse impact on your hair health, aesthetics, and self-esteem. This is where, using hair colour, could be a reason for worry, as chemical-based hair products are linked to hair damage.
The International Journal of Trichology, published a study, as per which chemical based hair colours are full of toxic chemicals, alkaline Ph levels, drying agents, and sulfates. This causes your hair to become dull, lose its shine and strength, and break, due to cuticle damage and hair fibre breakage.
To nourish your hair, a hair mask made of natural ingredients may just do the trick. This is because, you are free to customise it as per your requirements, without risking the damage caused by chemicals. To your rescue, the two ingredients that can help you get rid of dry and damaged hair, and are avocados and eggs.
Eggs are packed with essential vitamins and minerals, as well as selenium, calcium, magnesium, potassium, lecithin, and phosphorus. This powerful combination of nutrients helps in promoting hair growth and making your tresses silky and smooth. Eggs help strengthen the hair follicles and roots, thereby, fighting any damage caused to them.
Avocados are loaded with vitamin E, K and C, along with potassium, protein, oleic acid, and folate. These nutrients help prevent hair loss and act as a natural moisturizer. Using this fruit could help make your hair smooth, shiny, strong, and supple. This is a great ingredient to make the roots and shaft strong, and revitalise damaged hair ends.
